Indonesia has a huge cashew industry, which makes it a lucrative market for companies like Cadbury and Bunnings.
The nut is considered one of the most nutritious nuts in the world, with up to 60 percent of the world’s cashew protein, according to the World Health Organization.
The company says the nut’s versatility makes it suitable for many uses, including baking, cooking, salad dressing, and for dipping sauces.
The world’s biggest cashew, however, is the giant, 9.5-ounce jar of cashew-milk chocolate sold in Indonesia.
It is considered the world number one selling chocolate, according a recent study by market research company Euromonitor International.
According to the Euromonitors report, the average price of the 1,000-gram bag of Cadbury chocolate is around US$8.80, but that is only the price paid for the 100 grams of chocolate per package.
Bunnies, which own the biggest market share in Indonesia, make up just 4 percent of that market, but they make up 40 percent of total sales.
“Cadbury has become the world leader in cashew chips and is also the world market leader in chocolate chip cookies and bars,” said Jelani Tuhut, executive director of the Indonesian Association of Bunnying Industries.
Tuhu says that, since the early 1990s, he has seen a boom in the demand for the cashews as they are a high-protein snack and are also the main ingredient in a variety of foods including ice cream, yogurt, and peanut butter.
In a 2014 report, Euromoniting reported that the country has grown to become the fifth largest chocolate market in the Americas.
“We have a lot of cashews growing in Indonesia because they are good for the economy,” said Tuhuhuti.
“The government is spending more and more on cashews because they have been used in food for so long.”
Indonesia’s cashews are exported to Malaysia and the United States, but its production is also in China, Thailand, and India.
According, in 2014, Indonesia exported 7.9 billion cashews worth $1.9 trillion, and a further 3.4 billion cashew beans worth $2.4 trillion.
“People love the casheys because they’re cheap, the nuts are high protein, and they are very healthy,” said H.J. Ramekar, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Cadburys Indonesia.
“So, the cashes are perfect for the Indonesian market.”
But what is cashew butter?
The term cashew is used to describe any edible, leafy vegetable with a nut or seeds attached.
In Indonesia, cashews and other nuts are considered a “vegetable food” because they do not have seeds and can be grown without soil or fertilizer.
In the Philippines, the country’s second-largest market, the nut is also referred to as “peanut butter” because it is derived from peanuts.
Cadburies Indonesia says its cashew sauce is made from the nut, but is it a peanut butter?
Cadburists Indonesia claims its cashews have been developed to be nut-free, but the company has yet to provide evidence that this claim is accurate.
However, the company says that its peanut butter is a “healthy and nutritious alternative to traditional peanut butter” that is made with cashew milk and coconut oil.
The Cadburts brand has been around for more than 70 years, with Cadbursts starting with a family of Dutch chocolate makers.
The brand was first sold in Europe, and in the early 2000s, the name changed to Cadburries.
The first Cadburms chocolate bar was introduced in 2004.
Today, Cadburss Indonesia sells nearly 5 million bars of Cadmouth, the worlds largest chocolate.
The firm’s Cadburks line of Cad-filled candy bars and sweets are available at a range of grocery stores and convenience stores across Indonesia, and Cadburds has grown so rapidly that it is now sold in more than 300 countries.
Indonesia’s popularity with the casnows is not limited to the country, either.
In April, the Malaysian government signed a memorandum of understanding with Cadbury, with a goal of producing 2 billion casnys worth of the nut.
“Malaysia is a global leader in nut production and is a major exporter of nuts,” said K.B. Bambang, managing director of Cadhams Indonesia.
The deal is a sign of the growing importance of the country to Cadbury.
Malaysia is currently the world-leading producer of nuts for almonds, pistachios, cashew and cashew products, according the Cadburshans website.
The Malaysian government also recently announced a new program to boost production of nuts.
“In Malaysia, nuts are very important and very valuable,” said Ramekhan, Cadbury’s Indonesian chief marketing director.
“It’s good for
