The Los Angeles Kings will open the preseason against the Nashville Predators on Thursday, and they’ll be looking to keep the momentum going against the Ottawa Senators.
The Kings were 3-0-0 in the preseason opener, and were on a six-game winning streak when they came up short against the Anaheim Ducks.
That’s a far cry from the way the Kings played in the first two preseason games against the Arizona Coyotes and the Nashville Preds.
The Senators have been a much better team than the Kings.
They’ve won their last two games against them, and have the third-best record in the Pacific Division heading into Thursday’s game.
They won’t want to give up that much to make the playoffs, either.
The Ducks will play the second game of the preseason in Nashville on Friday, and then the Ducks will face off against the Winnipeg Jets on Saturday.
The Ducks will also host the Winnipeg Wild on Sunday, and the Jets will play one more game against the Edmonton Oilers before they head to Dallas for their final preseason game against Anaheim.
Both games will be televised on NBCSN.
