People often hear that cashews contain anti-inflammatory and anti-carcinogenic properties, but little research has been done on the topic.
Now, researchers from the University of Cambridge have discovered that cashew nut oil, the most commonly used ingredient in cashew cream, is actually better for human health.
Their study, published in the British Journal of Nutrition, shows that it is possible to produce an oil that has more than 300 percent of the oil’s concentration of the anti-oxidant compounds phytosterols and chondroitin sulfate.
“Our study showed that the more anti-bacterial activity a component of cashew oil can have, the better it is at suppressing the development of inflammatory and cancerous tumors,” said Dr. Simon J. Huggins, a professor of medicine at the University and one of the study’s authors.
“That’s really exciting because the anti‐inflammatory and the anti–carcinsogenic properties of cashews can potentially help prevent cancer.”
In addition, it’s believed that cashesto help protect against the common cold, and they are a good source of vitamin E, which is often used in cosmetics.
The research also showed that caswhores have the lowest level of saturated fat in the human diet.
What are cashew oils and how do they work?
Cashew nuts are one of several nuts that have been used as a dietary supplement for centuries.
They are made from the seeds of the cassia tree, which grows throughout much of Africa.
The nuts are rich in oil and have been touted for their antioxidant properties.
One of the most well-known uses of cashewn nuts is in their cashew milk, which can be a source of antioxidants.
Another common use is as a cooking oil, although this is less commonly used in the United States.

The highest levels of anti‐oxidants are found in cashefs oil, which contains phytolic acids.
The most anti‐bacterial and anti‐carcinic properties of the cashews were found in the cashef oil, phytocaramelose, which prevents oxidative stress and protects against inflammatory cells.

They also help with inflammation and inflammation related to diabetes.
It is thought that the cashes oil has antioxidant properties that can protect against skin cancers, including melanoma and nonmelanoma skin cancer.
